The LCN’s political proportionality has been confirmed following the local elections.
The figures are produced by the LGA’s research team and independently verified. LCN’s figures are:

| Labour | 19.7% |
| Independent | 14.8% |
| Green | 8.2% |
| Reform UK | 6.0% |
The Conservative Group remains LCN’s largest group and will therefore continue to provide the LCN Chair.
Political groups are entitled to standalone representation on LCN’s Executive Board if they achieve a proportionality share of 5% or more. Reform UK and the Green Party now exceed this threshold.
Reform UK has opted to take up standalone representation. The Green Party will shortly decide whether it wishes to take up standalone representation.
